This trek covers the entire Annapurna massifs of the Annapurna region and includes crossing the Thorung La Pass (5,416 m), walking along the deepest gorge in the world (Kaligandaki Gorge), enjoying the Himalayan sunrise view from Pun Hill, visiting the Muktinath Temple. (a major pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists), and refreshing in the hot springs of Tatopani.

We travel at altitudes ranging from 800m to 5,416m and take us through many climatic zones, taking us through rice paddies, subtropical forests, rural farmlands and glaciers.

The several Himalayan peaks we can see like Mount Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Mount Annapurna I (8,091 m), Mount Manaslu (8,163 m), Mount Annapurna II (7,937 m), Himalaya and other Himalayas can be seen. Annapurna III (7,555 m), Annapurna IV (7,525 m), Annapurna South (7,219 m), Mount Nilgiri (7,041 m), Machhapuchhare (6,998 m), Hiuchuli ( 6,441 m), Mount Lamjung (6,985 m), Tukuche Peak (6,910 m), and Tilicho Peak (7133 m).

This Annapurna Circuit Trekking gives you an opportunity to learn about the Tibetan way of life in the Mustang Valley. Chances of seeing snow leopards along with blue sheep in Yak Khark are less. We will also stop at Tatopani village overnight, where you can take a dip in the famous hot springs before ascending Ghorepani.

We will start the trek in Bhulbhule after a scenic drive from Kathmandu, and the route follows the Masryandghi River Valley through Jagat, Dharapani, Chame and Pisang. We will spend one night in all these places.

On our sixth day, we trek to Manang, where we stay for acclimatization in preparation for Thorung La Pass. After enjoying Manang, we continue our trek to Yakkhark and the next day we trek to Thorang Phedi and spend the night there.

We leave Thorong Phedi on our ninth day and head towards Muktinath, and this will be the day you cross the Thorong La Pass (5,416m/17,769ft). Thorang La Pass connects Manang village to Muktinath temple in the east and Ranipauwa village in the west.

After crossing the Thorang La Pass, we proceed to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. From Muktinath we go to Tatopani famous for its hot springs. There is a popular belief that skin diseases can be cured by hot spring water. If you want, you can take a dip in this hot Spring. We will spend the night in Tatopani

Next day we will trek from Tatopani through lush green rhododendron, birch and magnolia forest to Ghorepani. We will spend the night at Ghorepani. The next morning we woke up at Ghorepani and walked for about an hour to Punhil. Pun Hill is famous for its spectacular views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna (I, II, III, South), Hichuli, Nilgiris, Machhapuchche, Tukuche Peak, Dhampus Peak and Gurja Himal.

After spending some quality time at Poon Hill, we travel to Berithanti and then proceed to Pokhara, where we will spend our last night in the trekking area. Next morning we will return to Kathmandu by tourist bus.

This trip is for trekkers who want to experience adventure travel in Nepali Himalayas enjoying different scenery, geography and different climatic zones. We have other exciting trek packages in the Annapurna region, and if you wish, Mountain MagicTreks can customize your trek.

This trek package includes local bus rides from Kathmandu to Beshisar or Bhulbhule. If you are willing to bear the extra expense, you can return to Kathmandu by jeep or plane from Pokhara. We advise our valued customers to arrive in Kathmandu before 3 PM one day before the trek departure date to attend the trek briefing. During the trek briefing, well recheck the equipment and gear, while letting you know what to expect.

go up the road, you will feel the air getting colder, drier and harsher. The trail passes through
Tibetan settlements, and we get a chance to explore Buddhist culture.

After a day in and around Manang, getting used to the high altitude and letting our bodies rest and
get used to the environment, we head to Yak Khark. First we cross the river and climb to the village
of Tenki, then we go northwest through the Masryangdi valley to the Jarsang river valley. The trail
gradually ascends, as we head north.
We are passing through many pastures and juniper forests. As our trek continues, we pass through
a small village called Gunsan with houses built with flat mud roofs. You will also get to see yak and
horse grazing. After crossing a small stream on a wooden bridge, we cross a scenic valley into an
open, peaceful grassland called Yak Kharka.

then descend and cross the Masryangdi River on a wooden bridge. After climbing the hill, we follow
a narrow path crossing the slopes and descend to Thorang Phedi. The uninhabited, rugged terrain is
otherworldly and a stark contrast to the lush green plains we crossed on the way up during the initial
leg of the trek

Day 10 : Trek from Thorong Phedi (4,525m / 14,525ft) to Muktinath Temple (3,760m / 12,623ft) via Thorong La High Pass (5,416m / 17,756ft)

The day will be remarkable as you trek from Thorung Phedi (4,525m/14,525ft) to Muktinath Temple
(3,760m/12,623ft) to Thorung La High Pass (5,416 m/17,756 ft). This is one of the most challenging
parts of the trek as Thorong La Pass is one of the highest passes in the world, and is the highest
point of the trek.
We start early in the morning and push ourselves through the snowy wind and high altitude, but the
views from the pass are totally worth it. To the north, towards Tibet, we will have a view of the
majestic Himalayan peaks, and if you look back, you will see the Annapurna range.
Then we reach Muktinath, a holy place for Hindus and Buddhists. Buddhists call Muktinath Chumig
Gyatsa, which means Hundred Waters in Tibetan. The Muktinath temple is known for its 108 stone
fragments with water flowing from Kaligandaki. You can also see an eternal flame that has been
burning there for over 2,000 years.

In the morning, we visit the Muktinath Temple and then continue our journey in a local bus ride to
Tatopani. It will be a rough drive as the road passes through some of the deepest canyons in the
world. We will move from dry mountainous terrain to lush green forests. Tatopani is famous for its
natural hot springs, and this is a place where we can take a dip in the hot springs and relax. It is said
that hot water has healing properties for skin diseases.

Day 12 : Trek from Tatopani (1,200m / 3,940ft) to Ghorepani (2,860m / 9,385ft)
Food Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Accomodation Hotel (Twin room)

Leaving the Tatopani springs behind, we go to the east side of the Kaligandaki river and reach
Ghorepani through the Thakali villages of Sikha and Chitre castes. Our walk takes us through
terraced farmlands surrounded by hills and through lush forests full of rhododendrons, birches and
magnolias. We will stop at Ghorepani, a beautiful hilltop village to spend our night.

Day 13 : Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m / 10,525ft) - then trek to Birethanti (1,039m / 3,250ft) - Drive to Nayapul, Pokhara

Don't do a Trek in Nepal without Rewati!

Just finished up the Annapurna Circuit and I have nothing but praise for Rewati and his incredible team who lead the way! This is my second visit and trek in Nepal, and I have been made to feel welcomed and most importantly safe as a solo female traveller. Rewati was always prompt in answering my questions and his amazing team were there to pick me up from the airport when I arrived! Khem was our fearless team leader, with Keshap and Ram his incredible wing-men! Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to make it over the Thorong-La Pass! These 3 kept our small group entertained, safe and well informed throughout the whole trek. We had planned to go to Tilicho Lake, however due to incredibly dangerous weather, our leaders made the difficult decision to turn us around and out of harms way after. Whilst not ideal, after hearing other trekkers stories of their visit to the lake, I’m glad we had such knowledgeable guides who had our safety as their number one priority. One of our three leaders was always by my side as I was the slowest of the group, and I was never once made to feel like I needed to rush. The guys always encouraged us to do our best and were always positive that we would get to the finish line. I cannot praise Rewati and his team enough! It has been yet another incredible visit to Nepal, and it’s been so great knowing I didn’t have to worry about anything, and that I could call on our team no matter what time of the day. Make sure you indulge in the Dal Bhat (24hr power) when you travel with Mountain Magic Treks! You’ll need the energy to keep up with the guys who never failed to keep us entertained with songs and jokes! Ram is the most hilarious pocket rocket, who is always up for the craziest of challenges. Keshap will sing away all of your worries (and will totally win Nepal Idol one day!!!) and Khem will always be by your side, sharing his amazing knowledge about the mountains and making the difficult decisions so you don’t have to, always with a smile on his face. Thanks for a fabulous 2 weeks! I’m already looking forward to my next Nepali adventure

Thanks again Rewati and team!

Unforgettable Annapurna Circuit trek

I did the Annapurna Circuit trek in mid-December 2015, guided by Phurba Sherpa. Phurba was just the perfect guide for a newbie trekker like me. He helped me out with the pre-trek prep, taking me to shops to rent gear like sleeping bags- he even bargained on my behalf! Once the trek started, he was always there, making sure I was doing the right things, eating well, staying hydrated. He also took care of finding accomodation at the tea houses. I will never forget the day we crossed the Thorong La pass- 50m before reaching Thorong La, I was hit with altitude sickness. Phurba had the right medication to help me through it and carried my backpack for me till we crossed the pass. Professional, yet warm and kind, Phurba is like family. He has a great eye for a picture too!

About the trek- it's an experience to cherish forever. Beautiful landscapes, from fields to forests to snow-clad mountains to cold desert. Great variety, from ancient monasteries and temples to hot-water springs. A very rewarding journey, being with oneself, while still meeting people from all over the world. And the opportunity to experience the amazing warmth and hospitality of the Nepalese and the delightful company of my guide and trekking buddies.

Don't do a Trek in Nepal without Rewati!

Rewati gave us an awesome Trek on the Annapurna circuit and got us out of some really tough situations including a lost passport & emergency evacuation. Many trekkers will try to do The Circuit without a guide - which is doable - but without Rey, we would have been completely SOL! His knowledge, experience, and good nature turned what could have otherwise been a disastrous trip into an enjoyable one!

Great guide, great trekking!

Last August, My friend and I did a trekking through the Annapurna region. Phurba Sherpa was our guide and showed us the best places and helped us to get the most out of this experience. Since we were both inexperienced in trekkings, it was really great to have such an experienced guide, who was really friendly and personal throughout the whole adventure. However the weather conditions in August were (as expected) not too helpful for seeing the high peaks of the mountains, the extra information and experience of Mountain Magic Treks helped us to enjoy every piece of it.
